Le Bateleur

Le Bateleur

This is a perfect slow sipper cocktail, high on ABV. It’s also a 3,5 oz recipe so you’re in for a long lasting indulgence. If you garnish with an orange twist like we did you also get a nice citrus kick that both tastes and looks good.

Gargoyle & Spire

The Strega has a beautiful yellow colour. Flavour wise its not too far from yellow Chartreuse, but at the same time different.

Gin Lane

It is a sour type of cocktail indeed, but of course that orgeat and also the ginger ale take away some of the acidity, making sure the Gin Lane is a well balanced and delicious cocktail in the end.

Swedish tonic cocktails

In this post we are trying tonic syrup from @swedishtonic to create two original cocktails. Swedish tonic is the product of three young Swedish entrepreneurs who wanted to bring back a natural, true to history and simply delicious tonic. Of course it’s produced with real quinine, and not the chemical substitute you often find in mass produced tonics.

Doc Daneeka Royale

Doc Daneeka Royale

What to do with some leftover sparkling wine? Easy, a Doc Daneeka Royale by Alex Day from Death & Co. This is a play on another iconic Champagne cocktail (guess which one) and it’s definitely as good, if not even better . . .

Leap Year

The recipe for the Leap Year we found in Robyn M. Feller’s book “The Complete Bartender”. This book with more than 2 000 recipes in it was published 1990. We found it in a bookstore selling used books in Chicago. Couldn’t resist buying it and start recreating some of these 1990s cocktails.
