We think the Japanese Roku gin is so elegant, and this is the perfect cocktail to showcase it in. Because there is a lot of gin in it, making this a martini-styled drink.⁠

But there is sweet vermouth instead of dry, plus there are two surprising additions of sweet chocolate liqueur and super bitter Fernet-Branca. ⁠

It all comes together beautifully and forms an interesting and intriguing drink that we are likely to make gain.⁠

Recipe by Henry Prendergast

Ingredients:

2 oz gin⁠
0,75 oz sweet vermouth⁠
0,25 oz clear cacao liqueur⁠
0,25 oz Fernet-Branca⁠
1 dash orange bitters⁠

Mixing:

Stir all ingredients with fresh ice and strain into a coupe. Garnish with a lemon zest.⁠
