The Divine Lorraine

The Divine Lorraine – that’s the name of this elegant cocktail. We found the recipe in Kara Newman’s great cocktail book “Shake. Stir. Sip.” and she somehow credits Colin Shearn for the recipe. This is an equal part cocktail (as are all cocktails in Kara’s book). Bourbon, elderflower liqueur, amaro Nonino and sweet vermouth stirred together create a sophisticated, adult drink that’s great to enjoy as the weekend approaches. It’s a cocktail we really appreciated, and we love the name of it!

0,75 oz bourbon
0,75 oz St-Germain elderflower liqueur
0,75 oz amarao Nonino
0,75 oz sweet vermouth
3 dashes orange bitters
Stir all ingredients with fresh ice, strain and pour.
