Tropical Popsicle presented by Cocktail Detour


Japanese whisky is an ingredient that feels a little extra luxurious we think. Using it also makes us think about our trip to Tokyo in 2019, which somehow feels very distant right now.⁠

Here the nice whisky is combined in a slightly unusual way with passion fruit syrup and Aperol. It actually comes together real nicely and we savored each sip of this one.⁠

Recipe by Tony Roehr


1,5 oz Japanese whisky⁠
0,5 oz Aperol⁠
1 oz passion fruit syrup⁠
0,5 oz lime juice⁠
soda water to top up with⁠


Shake all ingredients but the club soda with ice and strain into a tall glass. Top up with club soda.
