“The Swedish Word” cocktail is our own creation, paying hommage to the country we live in. We substituted gin with aquavit and maraschino liqueur with punsch, while keeping the green Chartreuse and the lime juice from the original Last Word recipe. The aquavit was a big hit (we used organic O.P. Anderson)! It adds some spice and bitterness without altering the pale green/yellow color of the cocktail. The Swedish word for wonderful is LJUVLIG, and that is exactly what this cocktail is! Visible in the background is a nice Stockholm illustration by Steve McDonald.
0,75 oz clear aquavit
0,75 oz Swedish punsch
0,75 oz green Chartreuse
0,75 oz fresh lime juice
Shake with ice, strain and pour.
