In The Great Pretender by Thomas Waugh there is a big splash of overproof rum. But as it is the amazing rum from Smith & Cross that’s used this is totally fine if you ask us. It’s such a wonderful rum with flavours of butterscotch, citrus and sugar.
As there is also pineapple juice in this drink we wanted to use some pineapple cocktail picks. Getting them to balance with the little green pineapple facing upwards proved impossible. If you are looking at this photo on a smartphone you could turn it upside down to fully appreciate these wooden pineapples.

Ingredients:
2 oz Smith & Cross rum
0,5 oz pineapple juice
0,5 oz lime juice
0,5 oz vanilla syrup
1 teaspoon cinnamon bark syrup
Mixing:
Shake with ice and strain into coupe glassware.
