The Royal Gold! We wanted to use Orgeat syrup in a cocktail and found inspiration at Absolut. The cocktail brought together vodka, almond, pineapple and ginger. The taste ended up being too spicy from the ginger ginger (maybe we took too much, but how much is a “piece” of ginger) and too sweet from the orgeat. If there is a next time we’ll be careful of the ginger and use less orgeat.

Royal Gold

1 1/2 part Vodka

1 part Pinapple Juice

1/2 part Orgeat Almond Syrup

3 pices of Ginger

Muddle ginger and orgeat in a shaker. Fill with ice and the other ingredients, shake and serve.
