Prince of Orange presented by Cocktail Detour


We just love using preserves in cocktails. It often gives a very fresh and vibrant flavour to the drink, at the same time sweetening it a bit. In this cocktail it’s orange marmelade that is combined with genever and fresh orange juice to create a very orange intense cocktail. The result is a delicious, fruity yet boozy, drink that is so nice to sip slowly a hot summer afternoon or evening.

Prince of Orange

Recipe by Sahil Mehta


1,5 oz genever

1 oz Drambuie

0,5 oz lemon juice

0,25 oz orange juice

1 tsp orange marmelade

2 dashes Angostura bitters


Shake with fresh ice and fine strain into a coupe. Garnish with an orange twist.
