The Preassure Drop Cocktail by Thomas Waugh at Death & Co in New York is a delicate one. It’s shimmering look is created with gin, amaro, vermouth and pear brandy. Many flavours at once, but they work beautifully together, creating a memorable cocktail with fruity and sweet notes. We served it in tiny glasses, but it only meant we could top them up several times.
1,5 oz old Tom gin
1 oz Amaro Meletti (but we used Nonino)
0,5 oz dry vermouth
1 teaspoon pear brandy
1 dash Angostura bitters
Stir over ice, strain and pour
