Polished Diamond

Polished Diamond presented by Cocktail Detour

Etrog has been a new discovery to us during 2017. It’s a yellow citron fruit, looking like a knotty lemon. At Sukkah Hill Spirits they turn this characteristic citron into a delicious liqueur.

And tonight we incorporate the Etrog liqueur in a Polished Diamond cocktail. Another ingredient in this drink is a dry white wine, which we don’t use too often in cocktails. Turns out it works really well, contributing with a subtle dryness, and also helping to lower the ABV.

A big part of cocktailing to us is discovering new ingredients, producers, stories and people to learn new things from. Etrog is a good example of this!

Happy weekend everyone, Christmas is just around the corner!
