Always excited to make chocolate cocktails. In this one there is just a touch of it though, so it certainly doesn’t overwhelm the cocktail. What it rather does is to smooth out the smokey scotch in a quite clever way. Left behind is a mellow and round cocktail, further enhanced by the rich cream sherry and some delicious vermouth. Still, we just had to shoot this cocktail surrounded by cacao nibs…

Old Alhambra

Recipe by Leo Robitschek

Ingredients:

0,25 oz white crème de cacao

0,5 oz cream sherry

0,75 oz blanc vermouth

1,5 oz Laphroaig scotch

Mixing:

Stir all ingredients with ice in a mixing glass. Strain into a coupe and garnish with a grapefruit twist or similar.
