If you’ve followed our blog for a while, you know how much we love The Last Word cocktail. There are also several variations of this brilliant recipe and today we are making a variation called My Word. This cocktail is found in Greg Henry’s book “Savory Cocktails” and it substitutes regular gin with Old Tom gin, and lime juice with lemon juice. Only judging by the color of the cocktail it’s hard to tell the My Word apart from The Last Word – one of each are featured in the photographs. But look at our garnishes, they give away hints….
2 oz Old Tom Gin
0,5 oz green Chartreuse
0,5 oz Maraschino liqueur
0,5 oz fresh lemon juice
Shake with ice and strain into a cocktail coupe.
