Jaguar

amer picon, blanco tequila, green chartreuse
Jaguar presented by Cocktail Detour

This recipe uses Amer Picon which is a bittersweet French orange-flavored aperitif. It is a common bottle throughout Europe, less so in the USA. In this drink it is combined with another super French product – green Chartreuse. The more unexpected addition is the tequila, not being very French at all. Nevertheless everything work beautifully together, and we found this cocktail to be both elegant and a bit modern and avantgarde at once.

Ingredients:

1,5 oz tequila

0,75 oz green Chartreuse

0,75 oz Amer Picon

3 dashes orange bitters

Mixing:

Stir with fresh ice and strain into a coupe. We garnished with a halved brandied cherry, while the original recipe suggests a flamed orange twist.
