Edda

aquavit, birch liqueur, dry vermouth, gin
Edda presented by Cocktail Detour

Hven is a tiny island outside the Swedish southwest coast. There are only about 300-400 inhabitants on the island, but it still has its own whisky and gin distillery!

In this post we are trying their navy strength gin together with their akvavit. In the recipe for an Edda cocktail, those two ingredients are mixed with vermouth and birch liqueur to create a rather Nordic cocktail.

And look at those pointy and pretty bottles! You can tell so much love goes into this small batch products. We love that fine spirits like these can be produced at the tiniest places in Sweden.
