Dead Man’s Handle

Dead Man's Handle presented by Cocktail Detour

 

There’s orgeat in this one, one of our favorite sweeteners. It adds sugar, but also a nice velvety texture to drinks, plus it has a certain exotic vibe over it.⁠

Here it is combined with tequila and lime and then also Aperol which adds a cool bitter element to the drink.⁠

Recipe by Tifanny Kirk⁠

Ingredients:

1,5 oz blanco tequila⁠
0,75 oz Aperol⁠
0,5 oz fresh lime juice⁠
0,5 oz orgeat⁠

Mixing:

Shake all ingredients with fresh ice and strain into a glass filled with crushed ice.⁠

Glassware:
