Dry Martini Cocktail

Dry Martini is one of the worlds most famous cocktails. It’s made with gin and dry vermouth in different proportions varying from 2:1 to 100:1. These variations would taste differently for sure and it’s up to you to decide.

Ian Flemming’s James Bond said he wanted it “shaken, not stirred” first time in the novel Dr. No from 1958. One can discuss what is the best way but often clear ingredients are stirred.

There are variations of Dry Martini, we have already tried Martinez, a sweeter acquaintance. The proportions in this recipe is from Death & Co.

Dry Martini

2 1/2 oz dry gin

3/4 oz dry vermouth

1 dash orange bitters

Stir with ice and serve in a fabulous glass with a lemon twist.
