The Deadpan Fix is another cocktail from Death & Co’s black book. This drink is by Jessica Gonzalez and was created in 2011. It’s an interesting cocktail as it combines two rather bitter ingredients, Campari and grapefruit juice. Then to further spice things up there’s also rye, Grand Marnier, lemon juice and ginger syrup added. It sounds like an almost crazy combination, but as with all Death & Co creations, this is a perfectly balanced one!
1,5 oz rye
0,25 oz Campari
0,25 oz Grand Marnier
0,75 oz grapefruit juice
0,5 oz fresh lemon juice
0,25 oz ginger syrup
Shake with ice, pour and strain, decorate with a citrus twist.
