During Sundays mocktails are extra nice. A mocktail is an alcohol free cocktail that does not compromise on composition, flavour and complexity.
Gnista is a new product to the market. It resembles a brown spirit such as whisky or Cognac, but it is zero ABV. We thought it would be fun to come up with an original mocktail using it.
We decided to use a classic whisky sour as inspiration. We swapped whisky for Gnista and added lemon for acidity and maple syrup for sweetness. We also thought it would be nice to top up the drink with some sparkling club soda, to make the drink extra refreshing.
While it is alway extremely hard to mimic alcoholic spirits, Gnista is a fantastic and ambitious attempt that we are quite eager to follow the progress of. Who knows, this beautiful looking bottle might become a staple at bars all over the world! We are very happy to be able to offer our guests brown, alcohol free cocktails going forward!
