The Sinu Metu by Joy Richardson is made with Irish whiskey. We don’t use that very often we have to admit, but we do have a bottle of Jameson in our cabinets and we decided it was time to put it to use.
Also we realized the colour of the finished cocktail would match our new coasters. We bought them at the Museum of Spirits here in Stockholm. It’s hard to tell from the photo, but the pattern on the coasters is made up of the molecular structure of alcohol. Quite fitting we thought!
1,5 oz Jameson Irish whiskey
1 oz Lillet Blanc
0,5 oz Cherry Heering
3 dashes wood/barrel bitters
Stir with fresh ice and strain into your most Irish looking glassware.
This recipe we found in Frederic Yarm’s book Drink & Tell.
