Poor Richard

dry cider, sweet vermouth
Poor Richard presented by Cocktail Detour

We’re going low ABV again with this cider-based cocktail. Cider is a good way of lowering the alcohol by volume while still keeping the drink festive and sparkling.⁣

The cranberry cordial is easy to make. Boil down about two thirds of some store-bought cranberry juice. Add about the same amount of sugar and let it melt on low heat. This way you’re creating almost a syrup, that tastes of cranberries.⁣

The nice bouquet of flowers we got from our friends who was visiting us for dinner and drinks. Hence there are four glasses in some of the photos.⁣

Cheers!⁣
