One Olive Left

ancho reyes verde, gin, green chartreuse
One Olive Left presented by Cocktail Detour

When O’live Gin kindly offered us to sample their pretty unique product, a gin made with olives, we knew we wanted to make some kind of The Last Word riff with it. ⠀

Immediately we thought of spicy Ancho Reyes Verde, another “green” product we like, along with Chartreuse. We contemplated if equal parts would mean the heat from the chili liqueur would be overwhelming, but it turned out to work perfectly, making this recipe much more easy to remember.⠀

The olive gin tastes a lot of olive which we really like! There is something very vegetal over the gin, making it extra nice to pair with other earthy spirits.⠀

Using straws made of reed only felt appropriate in this shoot.⠀
