We do like seeing aquavit in cocktail recipes. It’s a traditional Nordic spirit that up until recently hasn’t been used in cocktails that much. Leo Robitschek’s North Sea Oil is a wonderful example of a cocktail where aquavit gets to be the shining star, while still being slightly mellowed by Cocchi Americano and triple sec. The super smokey scotch adds almost like another dimension to the drink, and the final result is simply irresistible!
