In Belgian Antwerp, the small bar Jones & CO is found. Run by a young and promising bartender this bar specializes in gin & tonic’s. But they also do classic cocktails such as the Mai Tai.
During our days in Belgium we actually went to Jones & CO twice, so good was the atmosphere and the drinks. We tried a few different gin & tonic’s, all individually created with different citrus fruits and spices as flavor enhancer. Also tonic waters were carefully selected to balance the gin of choice perfectly.
A Whiskey sour was particularly good. Very good balance between acidity and sweetness.
The bar seemed popular but finding seats was still not difficult.
