Frozen Margarita

cointreau, tequila
Frozen Margarita presented by Cocktail Detour

Ah, we completely missed National Margarita Day back in February. We will try to compensate for that today with this delicious frozen Margarita.

There is a risk of brain freeze if you slurp this cocktail too fast, which is tempting to do as it’s so good. But at least we warned you!

This drink almost becomes a bit like sorbet, so a spoon is needed unless you have really thick straws available. It obviously tastes like a regular Margarita, but the freeze adds another dimension, an almost tingling sensation while drinking/eating this cocktail.

National Margarita day 2019 is coming up, 22 February. We are so prepared!
