gin, maraschino, peychauds, punt e mes

We’re pretty sure you reacted to this recipe in the exact same way we did;⠀

– A quarter of an ounce of Peychaud’s bitters?!?!?⠀

But yes, that is totally correct and not a recipe typo. There’s something so liberating about removing that dropper from the bitter bottle and pour rather than dash from it.⠀

And have you tried Peychaud’s on its own? It’s absolutely fantastic and it has a very rich, almost sweet and chocolaty taste. It’s definitely not as bitter as one could expect of a bitter…⠀

Peychaud’s is intensely red, and when combined with almost equally red Punt e Mes vermouth this popping drink is born. Can’t recommend giving it a try enough!
