Vacay!

The summer vacation is always exciting. Usually a time to travel, explore new cities, and of course new bars and cocktails.

In today’s post we have tried to transfer these vacation vibes into a cocktail. We chose to make a Crooked Kilt by Leo Robitschek because it’s based around pineapple juice. And nothing says vacation, as much as pineapple now does it?

Here we are using Naked Grouse blended scotch, which is just perfect in cocktails like this. Not overpowering the other ingredients, but still characteristic enough to shine through and somehow define this drink.

Do not skip the few drops of Laphroaig on the mint garnish. It’s almost mind blowing how intensely smoky this whisky is, and how just the aromas from it flavor the cocktail.

Happy vacation everyone!
