Oh, are there some nice ingredients in this one?! Cognac cocktails are always so luxurious – just like sipping Champagne. This is probably the first time we’ve seen it paired with genever though, and we think they work brilliantly together.
The addition of Punt e Mes and a tiny amount of Fernet-Branca gives the drink both its amber colour as well as some intriguing taste.
For us this was a great nightcap, and it’s one we will probably enjoy more times. In the photos we tried our best to capture the ambience we thought this libation contributed to.
