These drink-markers are not representing yours truly, but they are quite cute aren’t they? Also we thought they were quite fitting for the Starlet Sling cocktail found in the bar Canon book. In this cocktail there is a small amount of Heerings cherry liqueur, and it’s what defines the color of the cocktail. Probably even a bit more ruby red in real life compared to this photograph, it’s a beautiful and refreshing summer cocktail.
Starlet Sling
1,5 oz gin
1 oz lemon juice
0,25 oz cherry Heering liqueur
0,25 oz orgeat syrup
3 dashes Regan’s orange bitters
4 oz (or more) soda water
Shake all ingredients but the soda, strain and pour into glassware. Top up with sparkling water.
