Ahhh, tonight we made too much of the Morning Glory Royale cocktail! We thought these two glasses would be able to hold the full batch, but obviously the didn’t. Well anyway, this cocktail from Canon bar is so much fun. It’s a “brown” Champagne-cocktail which we thought was interesting. And there is both rye and cognac in it as well. A luxurious cocktail indeed. It has a dark and rich flavor profile, and the sparkles make the cocktail extra fun to drink. We really enjoyed this one!
absinthe (to rinse glassware with)
1 oz Cognac
1 oz rye
0,5 oz triple sec
1 dash simple syrup
1 dash Angostura bitters
1 oz dry sparkling wine
Shake all ingredients (but the absinthe and wine) with ice, strain and pour into the absinthe rinsed glasses. Top up with sparkling wine.
