The C.F.H. Cocktail, from the Savoy cocktail book is a rather cool drink. It mixes Swedish punsch with French calvados. For color and taste grenadine is added, and then there is also gin and lemon juice. Sounds like a lot is going on, but it actually tastes brilliant. When we opened the shaker, after a thorough shaking session, we were hit with a wonderful pineapple aroma. We thought this was rather fun, as there is no pineapple traces at all in the list of ingredients. The garnish was easy to decide on though, a slice of pineapple of course!
1 oz gin
0,5 oz grenadine
0,5 oz Swedish punsch
0,5 oz calvados
0,5 oz fresh lemon juice
Shake with ice, strain and pour
