Naked & Famous, by Joaquin Simó is a very interesting cocktail. It’s one part Last Word and one part Paper Plane (according to Death & Co’s book in which we found the recipe).
Thanks to the Aperol this cocktail gets a very appealing orange/pink color. The taste however is more dominated by the smoky mezcal, a spirit that we love, so this is definitely our type of cocktail.
Another thing we like about the Naked & Famous is the fact that it’s an equal part recipe. If you make this delicious drink more than once chances are you will remember the recipe by heart forever.
But although the recipe specifically says no garnish, we couldn’t resist adding a lime wheel and some matching paper flowers. That’s just about how far our disobedience goes though…

Ingredients:
0,75 oz mezcal
0,75 oz yellow Chartreuse
0,75 oz Aperol
0,75 oz lime juice
Mixing:
Shake with ice and strain into a coupe glass.
