We have already made cocktails using ginger syrup, but we have been curious for a while of King’s ginger liqueur. When we finally found a bottle in store, it was a definite buy. Looking at the brand’s web page we found the recipe for The King’s Spring Daisy Cocktail. It obviously contains a generous amount of the ginger liqueur in question, but it still doesn’t overwhelm the cocktail. The ginger flavor is warm and spicy in a nice way, while still leaving some room for the other ingredients to shine through.
1 oz King’s ginger liqueur
1 oz Cognac
0,75 oz fresh lemon juice
0,25 sugar syrup
2 dashes rhubarb bitters (we like Dillon’s)
