Two of our favorite ingredients are in this drink, cherry liqueur and amaro Montenegro. Both originate from old recipes, and they have been around for a long time. Hence, there’s something rather poetic about mixing them together, and enjoying them combined in this drink.
The only downside of these ingredients is that they are not that rich in colour. The cocktail does turn out a bit brown. But don’t let that fool you, it is still packed with nice flavour.
