The Jawbox gin that we are using today is a particularly good one, made in Belfast. In the gin there are eleven different botanicals, one of them being local Belfast Black Mountain Heather. It’s a potent and powerful gin that we knew we needed to use in a similarly styled cocktail.
A classic Corpse Reviver No. 2 was decided upon. It is one of our favourite drinks, as we love both gin and Absinth. The licorice notes from the Absinth worked in perfect harmony with the bold Jawbox gin, just the way we wanted it to.
Jawbox gin is made the traditional way, not cutting any corners. You can tell it is a gin of the highest quality and we really look forward to trying it in many other cocktails.
