The “Beauregard’s Breakfast” is our fourth post, out of four, with cocktails from Jamie Boudreau’s The Canon Cocktail Book. It’s been amazing trying so many wonderful recipes from one of the world’s best bars. We really recommend getting the book! This cocktail has an almost Nordic/Swedish touch to it with its blueberry base. The berry base also gives the cocktail an eye-catching color!
1,5 oz bourbon
0,75 oz fresh lemon juice
0,5 oz amaro Montenegro
2 dashes Angostura bitters
1 tablespoon blueberry preserves
Shake all ingredients vigorously with ice.
