We wanted to try the Illusionist Gin in something else than a G&T and came up with the above recipe. It somehow captures summer with that elderflower in it, but also adds licorice notes from the much wonderful absinthe bitters. (If you don’t have the bitters, just a drop of pure absinthe would work very well).
The gin has a wonderful blue/purple colour which really complements the drink. This gin screams to be mixed with clear products, to fully shine.
